Prevent. Protect. Respond. Recover.

Purpose

The State of Idaho Bureau of Homeland Security (BHS) Reservist/Volunteer Program is designed of citizens who want to volunteer their time to support the citizens of Idaho during State disasters and emergencies. The Idaho Emergency Operations Center (IDEOC) has positions that are necessary for operations during disasters that have to be filled. Volunteers will be trained and then fill positions in the IDEOC upon activation during a disaster.

Clarification

The BHS Volunteer Program registration page is utilized by those volunteers, both individual and organizational, whose activities take place within a BHS Building located on Gowen Field, ID. If you are a volunteer for an organization whose activities do not take place inside a BHS building located on Gowen Field, ID or outside of the Gowen Field, ID Federal Installation, then you need not complete the BHS Volunteer Registration Process.
