Hazard Mitigation Assistance Grant Programs
The HMAGPs provide an important opportunity for local governments and state agencies to protect individuals and property from natural hazards while
simultaneously reducing reliance on federal disaster recovery funds.
The Idaho Bureau of Homeland Security will offer applicant briefings for potential sub-grant applicants for the HMA programs. These briefings will provide details regarding eligibility, timelines, and application development.
These briefings are open to the public and will be held regionally as indicated in the schedule included in
the 2010 HMA program briefing schedule.
