Unified Hazard Mitigation Assistance Grant Programs Application Procedures for Idaho

Flood Mitigation Program
Pre-Disaster Mitigaton

Pre-Disaster Mitigation (PDM) and Flood Mitigation Assistance (FMA) Grant Programs:

  1. Complete and submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) for a planning sub-grant application or a project subgrant application to the BHS Mitigation Staff by: August 20, 2010.
  2. Develop your planning sub-grant application or your project sub-grant application in E-Grants.
  3. Complete a Benefit-Cost Analysis for your application using FEMA’s BCA Tool. PROJECT SUBGRANT APPLICATIONS ONLY.
  4. Submit your complete sub-grant application to BHS via the E-Grants system by: November 5, 2010.
  5. All applications will be reviewed by FEMA and the National Review Panel in early 2011.

Application Process:

  1. Complete and submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) for a planning sub-grant application or a project subgrant application to the BHS Mitigation Staff by the date specified.
  2. Develop your HMGP grant application.
  3. Complete a Benefit-Cost Analysis for your application using FEMA’s BCA Tool.
  4. Submit your complete sub-grant application to BHS via the E-Grants
  5. All applications will be reviewed by BHS and a prioritized list will be submitted to FEMA for funding.
