July 25, 2005  - MAGNITUDE 5.6 EARTHQUAKE IN WESTERN MONTANA FELT IN IDAHO COMMUNITIES

A moderate earthquake occurred in western Montana about 15 miles north-northeast of Dillon at 10:08 PM MDT, July 25, 2005.  Items knocked off shelves at Dillon and Bozeman and was felt as far away as Seattle, WA and Calgary, Alberta CAN.  Earthquake Shake Map      A series of magnitude 3+ aftershocks have followed the initial earthquake.  View the USGS details
